The construction sector has a great impact due to the large volumes of materials it manages. It is also one of the most energy-intensive sectors, particularly in manufacturing bituminous mixtures for road construction, making it a fundamental pillar of a circular and sustainable economy.
This research aims to develop low-temperature road asphalt mixes with bitumens modified with plastic waste. In this research, we plan to use waste plastics to manufacture lower-temperature road asphalt mixes using the foaming technique of waste plastic-modified bitumen.
